Ye Ruoshi has given this baby elephant a Cantonese traditional opera (wayang) make-up and adorned it with four different fabric patterns representing the major ethnic groups in Singapore namely the Chinese, Malays, Indians and Eurasians. They are all knit together to form a quilt for a one-piece baby romper. The orchids accessories symbolize Singapore.
