"The human has made such an inroad into possible existence for the elephant. They, like us, are part of the cycle of nature. By covering the elephant form in grass, the image would be connected directly with nature. Should the vegetation die or be damaged by humans during exhibition, the lack of care echoes our attitude to elephants."
