"I work in a universe with unrecognizable and recognizable formations and lines. In an attempt to have a consistent stroke in a bleak, but aesthetically accessible universe, I have chosen to develop the elephant into the barbed wire, heavy tape and burdens as a symbol of the suffering that the elephant is exposed to."
