"My creative inspiration comes from the traditional patterns and colors used by the Pacific Ocean based the Amis people of Taiwan. I have brought the energetic rhythms from the sun, waves, wind and fish to the elephant’s body. The endangering of the Asian elephant is from humans taking too much from nature. I hope this art work will help people to understand how important it is to take care of the Earth and to help the treasured Asian elephant to keep its rights and have enough space."
