My painting has the Atlantic Forest representing the jungle that we’re living in with fading but colorful flowers that is us. The strong sea waves mix with the forest are expressing the carioca feeling of beauty and social chaos. The vines entangling the elephant’s face represents the charm and suffocating feeling that Rio has at the same time.
