In honor of Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary, Elephant Parade presents a special open-air exhibition at Beursplein. From May 19 to June 29, 2025, fourteen unique, hand-painted elephant sculptures and one Duck sculpture will be on display as a vibrant and inspiring gift to the city and its residents.
Elephant Parade is globally known as the largest open-air art exhibition featuring these hand-painted elephant sculptures—each the size of a baby elephant. The event previously visited the Dutch capital in 2009, and this year, Amsterdam once again joins an esteemed list of (inter)national cities such as London, Milan, Rio de Janeiro, Las Vegas, and Dubai in hosting this unique event.
Local and international artists create one-of-a-kind designs to raise awareness for elephant conservation. The exhibition in Amsterdam promises to be a visual spectacle, bringing together art, culture, and wildlife conservation in an iconic location.
For one month, Beursplein will be transformed into a lively artistic landscape where visitors can enjoy diverse and expressive artworks. Each sculpture tells its own story, contributing to awareness of elephant conservation and their natural habitats.
A unique addition to the exhibition is the peculiar "odd one out"—a duck. At Elephant Parade, everyone is equal, and this artwork reinforces the exhibition’s message of inclusivity and connection.
