Floriphant is one of three works made by the São Paulo artist for Elephant Parade Floripa. The work represents an ancient city in black, white and lights. Historical elements of the city of Florianópolis were incorporated into the work, such as Cruz e Souza Palace, Hercílio Luz Bridge, the Metropolitan Cathedral of Florianópolis and the Fortress of São José da Ponta Grossa. Wisely using the volume of the sculpture for the creation of perspectives, the artist invites us to enter the work and admire the precision of each brushstroke in carts, cars, houses and passersby who build everyday beautiful scenes.
