"As an artist, I have always believed in elevating a social consciousness through my work - this is because i have always felt that art can act as a powerful social agent. I am so proud to be part of the Elephant Parade, so that through solidarity and art-making we can generate awareness and save the magical Asian elephant. Rather than using imagery as i do with most of my work, I chose text as my vehicle to convey the urgency of acting now, before it is too late."
